Shaun Canon / Shaun Barrowes

I'm a big fan of drum corps and have friended Drum Corps International (DCI) on Facebook. They posted a link to a video that features several corps, including the Cavaliers, for which my son's college roommate played tenors for two years. He's in the video in fact. Anyway, I fell in love with this song and played it over and over, and then started doing some Googling on the singer, Shaun Canon. I found he used to be Shaun Barrowes and was on American Idol. He's also extremely TBM.

Anybody know anything about this guy? Have you seen him? Why did he change his name?

I like his music and he's very big into music education in schools. He's going to be performing at the DCI championships this year.
