I mean everybody who is anybody in Mormondom these days gets an initial slapped in their name. Even the women leading the women/children auxiliaries. The odd thing is that his middle name starts with an "F". I guess when you are savior of the universe the rules are a little different.

That must be one of the mysteries that are not essential to our salvation, and/or it will be revealed in our next estate.

No, It's H for Herbert. Jesus Herbert Christ. Savior to the world, but he didn't have the power to change his middle name to something cooler.

Same with Joseph Smith or Brigham Young.

Apparently the latter prophets acquired more significance with the correct placement of an initial.

Adds dignity. Like a monocle.

I, too, read the tap dancing doctrine of Jesus H. Christ. Also I guess he has some affinity for hand baskets? I wonder what his mother would say.....

Is it Holy F. Ghost, too? I always wondered...

My favorite joke when I was a littleun was always that when Joseph (a carpenter, of course) would miss a nail while hammering, he'd yell, "OWWWWW!!!! JESUS CHRIST!!!"

And Jesus would say, "yes?"

So, what did Jesus say when he hit his thumb with the hammer?

"OWWWWW!!!! ME!!!! I DAMN IT ALL!"

I'd be scared to be around him. I mean, that's pretty much it at that point. You're out.

My high school diploma has my middle initial on it instead of the full middle name. I must be on the path to become a GA.
