Yes George looked dapper. (tie and all with tennis shoes)
I counted 8 of us in attendence. (but who's taking roll?)

So fun to meet WCG, MisFit, Mathematica and M.

TemplenameDeborah and DH are always fun. :) So glad you two were there.

We missed Rebecca, Kristen, RosyJenn, Drilldoc and Twinker....

Maybe next time..........January 9/Sunday 2011.
We will meet at Panera Bread on Imperial Highway La Habra at 10:30 AM. I will get the street address and post it.

Yes,WCG makes wonderful Soltice cookies.....She's so fun too.
And it's obvious everyone wants to meet her. She drove from Redondo Beach.......that's a haul.

This group of "Apostates/Exmos" is just what I'd hoped to meet. We are real, loving and recovering human beings.

Here's wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.

And "Dr. Anonymous" (aka Michael) had the best quote of the day, on his status as a member of the true church of Jesus Smith:

"I have relieved myself of the burden of failing mormonism."

God bless us, everyone!

I am so sorry I missed it. I keep intending to go and things crop up. I will be sure to make the next one. I have to drive from Redondo Beach as well. I didn't know anyone was out my way!

Sadly, the "seer" stone I brought didn't enlighten us at all. Everybody else did though, we covered lots of subjects, including:
The difficulty of leaving the church when you are employed by LDS relatives or friends. It was fun having the younger PoMo folks represented this time. Because of CHRISTMAS we all faced Kolob to acknowledge the brightest star in the heavens (right!).

Happy holidays. I have a new grandson by the way, born on the first day of Hanukkah! Imagine, a Jewish baby in the family... I think that happened before (a possibility, subject to change).

Had a great time today. It was especially nice to nice the new people. George, PLEASE post the writing that you brought to the meeting today. I have never read such beautiful, emotional words about leaving the church.
Thank you,
D.

Yes, it was nice meeting all of you. WCG's cookies were the perect sacrament! At one point, I wanted to put the seer stone in my cereal bowl, and see if I could make a prophecy.

I went to a Christmas party Saturday and didn't wake up till 10 am. I was still a little shaky from the Jamison's that morning and wanted to go as I actually remembered.I'll try and make it next time. Do you do these regularly?
