OT: Joe Paterno statue staying up at Penn State

For now. I imagine it will come down soon.

The story is so sad and disturbing. Also it is amazing how if you asked someone who the most honorable person in the sports world was a year ago, many would say Joe Paterno. A year later if you ask someone who the most disgraceful immoral person in the sports world is, many would say Paterno. I know he is dead, but the point still stands.

Penn State football is like a religion. As we all know certain religions would rather cover up the truth, than confront and deal with it.

Heck, if a whole university can be named after a creep like BY, then I'm not surprised a statue of Paterno would stay up.
