Definitely. In fact, I'd even like to visit, if it were anywhere nearby. I wonder how many of the Tijuanan members would prefer this new temple over that Disney-esque monstrosity they're currently using in San Diego? When the numbers of attendees shrivel away to practically nothing, COJCLDS could turn it into a profit-making theme park--CelestialLand! Give Disney some competition.
Blending the architecture with local flavor usually comes off crass and contrived, but for some reason, this building looks more pleasing. That's just an old gringo's opinion though. I'd have to ask a Mexican. I suspect she'd find it a bit disturbing.
Wow, this one makes the Mexico City temple look like crap.
Does anyone know why TSCC built so damn many McTemples in Mexico in such a short period of time? According to that website, all but the one in Monterrey went up in 1999 and 2000.
the design of Mexican architecture. And yes it'll be a much more popular temple if they were to install an underground tunnel to the states. Place the stairs to the tunnel in the celestial room, then it'll have a much more appriate meaning.
