He claims to have read "Guns, Germs, and Steel" although he dismisses its conclusions that economic success is dictated by factors other than culture. He dismisses it as a book by "someone named Jared Diamond".

Just read it in HuffPost not 5 minutes ago. While the article was interesting enuff for a few guffaws, the comments are a gold mine for spot on description of Mo-think. Examples:

Mitt's comments seem to make reference to the connection between the importance of Israel and mormon theology. Look at what he says about the Sunday school class his son Tagg taught.
