I was updating my Facebook profile and wanted to put something in the religious views section which truly reflected my views on religion.

I had previously put "Realist" in there but that didn't quite get it.

I'm not quite an Atheist so that wouldn't work.

I finally decided on "Apathetic". That pretty much sums up my feelings about religion. I just don't care.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I feel about the same. I don't put it on fb, but if someone asks me I say, "I'm content not to know".

There might be something, there might not. But there isn't anything pushing me to try to figure it out. I'm content not to know. But I am highly skeptical of there being anything.

Yep. My FB profile has me listed as "Apatheist & Malcontent".

And I am utterly devoted to my apathy.

I wrote "live and let live" on mine. I am an active Episcopalian, but what I believe is no one else's business, really.

A lot of people don't put anything and I know some of them are religious. Do what you like.

Religion is a rabid beast that will kill you. There can be no existing with it.

I've seen some people that just put "Yes"

I believe in God but not any of his fan clubs.

I liked that - especially since this girl graduated from Oral Roberts University. Guess she figured things out eventually.

Personally, I just leave that part blank. The only clue about religion at all is that I graduated from BYU - and it's a false clue.

Yeah I don't give out much information on Facebook either. Just my birthday really. Political Views, Religion, Relationship Status, etc is all just left blank.

But for my favorite quotations I have 4 or so of my favorite quotes by "prophets". Ones about spearing your spouse if they cheat, "better dead than unchaste",and other words of wisdom from these inspired men of God!

Mine says "Ex-(resigned)-Mormon. The Golden Rule is good enough for me."

Not one person (LDS or otherwise) has commented.

I may change it and leave it blank.........it's a hard belief to live up to.....

Some days I don't feel loving.

And some days I can't tolerate my TBM family.

But then again I am not required to be perfect. :)

My very bright daughter, who I pulled out of the cult before she was 8, describes herself as a Humanist.

I had posted "disillusioned" but it currently reads "post-religious." No one has dared comment.

I put "Amish" which many know is a joke or absurd, cause I don't have a horse and buggy, I don't look like a pumpkin pie haircutted freak with a Brigham Young beard and I don't live in Lancaster PA. With that...I have had one friend comment on this and thought it was funny. She however, knows I am no longer mormon. She is another childhood friend who has left the cult.

I have found 3 other friends from my youth that are no longer mormon because of their religious status on facebook or something they said on facebook. Really cool I think.
