Not sure. I did photograph them a few times a few years ago while they were still a "garage band" and their music has changed. They sound more like a mainstream pop band now.

According to one of the regular posters who talks about them, they all left the church, and at least two band members are gay. They may have not officially resigned, and the church is trying to claim them as members for faith promoting reasons.

Mormons for sure claim them as one of their own. Most of the stuff I found says they are all members but that can mean so many things.

It was such a long time since I've heard there songs, but the strange part is that I reminded myself! I woke up this morning singing the songs in my head (it is strange I know... O.o"), so I sang it to sound hound and I found it!! Yoohooo!! Btw, NEON TRESS's songs are AWESOME!!
im a huge fan.. i wanted to see them performing live but the show was housefull. finally ,got tickets available on www.goodseattickets.com at a fair market price ... YOOO bOY !!! here i come .......

I don't know about their current standing with TSCC, but the Ford commercial finally got me to check them out, and they are pretty good.
