Thought of a new word today-- OxyMormon-- or Mormon Logic.

It's in the Urban Dictionary but I don't like the definition they give it.

Having a Mormon Moment

My original post never got any traction, but I was thinking in terms of "having a mormon moment".

What would be "having a mormon moment"?

Tell a mother she dresses her daughter immodestly because her shoulders are bare. When the mother objects, say, 'Sorry, I was having a mormon moment'.

If a parent is with his/her son, ask the son if he masturbates. If the parent is upset by your question, just say you were "having a mormon moment".


When someone tells you you're being judgement or self-righteous, yep, just say you were having a mormon moment.


Serve green jello for dessert.
Leave the batch of burnt cookies on a neighbor's door step.
