When I was in my later teen years I went inactive and stopped attending church. It was more of a rebellious streak, rather than an intellectual conundrum. But while I was happily surfing the internet I happened upon these articles that had me in stitches.

http://rotten.com/library/religion/mormonism/

I'm newer to the boards, so I don't know if these are ancient news by now, but this planted a seed in my brain that started to come to fruition later on while I was serving a mission.

Disclaimer : The entire 'rotten library' could be very distasteful for some people, but I encourage people to check out the links in the article to Joseph Smith, Kinderhook Plates, Mormon views on Masturbation, and Brigham Young.

I hope this doesn't get removed as spam. Its seriously hilarious.

Thanks

I never thought about JS not telling anyone for many years about his heavenly visits. How impossible for a kid of 14. Very intersting and humorus articles.
