"I'm glad he lost. That way when the country goes down the tubes, they won't blame mormons."
"The country wasn't ready. It will happen in the Lord's time."
"This is a sign of the times - wars, rumors of wars, homosexuality, drug use, all manner of wickedness. The Lord is dividing the wheat and the tares...."
"They cheated with voter fraud all over the country. Satan has won the battle, but we will win the war."
This is exactly what I've heard too. I've heard that he "wasn't meant to win" because then when he did some of the tough stuff that needed doing, people would call him, and Mormons racist, sexist, etc. The whole point was to get the Mormon name out there.
are those the same people the believed he was the white donkey phophesy guy? the same ones that were sure he would win? if so how are the switch from that to "he wasnt meant to win"? thats such a radical change of stance in a very short period of time.
It's like listening to the whining of delusional children...
I mean, obviously it is a sign of the coming of the end... because there were NEVER wars, rumors of wars, natural disasters, drug use, all manner of wickedness, or GOD FORBID - GAYS... before this time. This is all new and crazy... What a world!>>>
Lol. That's what I point out to them. "43% of voters said Obama's handling of Sandy contributed to their decision to vote for him. What are the odds an act of nature, er GOD, would come just at the right time?"
They respond with a blank stare. Then I add, "Come to think of it, there was another hurricane in Tampa that shortened the Republican convention. Two hurricanes at just the right time. Hard to believe it's a coincidence. I heard the Baptists are saying that God is punishing us for nominating a mormon."
More blank stares. They never look at it that way.
