My TBM hubby is on board with me this year on one thing; we are not going to give out gifts to every Mormon neighbor who piles junky crafts and questionable foodstuffs on our door. We'vce chosen just a few neighbors we really are close to give gifts to. It really has taken a load off my mind and my time--I used to bake and bake for everyone. It's just ludicrous.

My kids are older now and want so little--just one or two things. That makes Christmas more simple and in some ways more meaningful.

I'm hoping I can get my family to volunteer at the food bank or something so they really appreciate what they have. Can't afford to do Sub for Santa, but there are other ways to try to be of service.

The thing I'm most grateful is time to spend with my family and time to spend on doing the things that give me joy and healthy.

Joy to all of you!
