Not surprised at all about her being gay but just that she announced it at the awards. She seemed very nervous but she looked beautiful and her speech was very touching.
The bigger question: did she announce she was retiring? She said something about never again being on an awards stage. I hope she continues to work as a director if not an actor.
Of course, she's been very good at keeping her private life private. I'm glad she's come out because I'm sure that's good for the gay community but other than that, it's none of my business. :)

Does this mean that it is possible that there is a sex tape of her and Angelina Jolie floating around somewhere out there? Not that I would ever disrespect their privacy by trying to find it or anything.
um no she didn't. She came out years ago as both gay AND atheist. She's just one of those celebs you don't see multiple headlines about because she values her privacy. Thank whatever too.. we have enough of the lindsay lohan types.
Ummmmmmmmmmm....... I thought that was already something everyone knew and she had never denied and had been in public with her girlfriend and their children.
