My coworker guessed the cult!

In the breakroom today, I told my coworker that I had been a member of a cult for 31 years.
He asked: Jehova's Witnesses? Mormon?
I burst out laughing! He guessed it on the second one!

Every time people ask me where I am from and I say "Utah."

After the questioning look... if I can tell they won't be offended, but they don't dare ask, I offer up "NO, but I used to be, and my family is."

Usually this opens up the "Oh, really!? I've always wondered... is it true that ________??!"
