This is one of the worse videos I've ever seen, ever.

And this was hardly a flash mob.

Totally. And very mediocre--they could have done it before sunset so half the "mob" wasn't in shadow. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Not a flash mob in any sense of the phrase.

Isn't that disrespectful to the church and temple square, seriously? I mean, it'd be a big no-no to stage a huge song and dance number at the Vatican, right? And if some random guy sets up his trap-kit drums at temple square by himself and starts playing, security would escort him out even if it was primary songs. If the temple/temples are so spiritual and sacred, what's up with the huge "hey, look at us!" thing?

The best one I've seen was the København Philharmonic (aka Sjællands Symfoniorkester) doing Bolero at the København Central Station.

I think the Mormons could of learned something from this one. It's not "random" event if it's in place like that? Mormons doing Mormon things at a Mormon place. So...?

This could turn out worse than the video to "We Built This City."

This is a "flash mob" in the same sense that a North Korean parade is "spontaneous."

What would be cool is for a hundred-odd of us ex-Mo's to group on Temple Square like tourists and have a 15-30 second flash mob something, dispersing before security descended on us.

Of course, we couldn't draught it all up here on RfM because of the Mormon spies and such from COB.

A mob wearing sun hats and sunglasses. Flash bare chests or bottoms. Just a brain flash. LOL

I wouldn't have the guts to participate.

Or thinking of the women in pants.... it would be hysterical to have a pants mob. A bunch women in pants march through the chapel during sacrament meeting. Maybe more fun to imagine than do?

Better yet, the women in pants start singing "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables.

It's funny, because I think the church was really hoping that this would go viral like most flash mob videos do. The thing that makes this video suck so hard is that it just seems staged. With good flash mob videos, you can never really tell who is going to join the action next. In this video, it goes from 3 dudes singing and dancing to EVERYONE singing and dancing. That's not a flash mob, that's a scene from "The Newsies"

Sooo Lame. Compare that to the Russian Wedding flash mob. Now that was amazing.

Basically. As most faith promoting events I took place in ended up being "Extremely horrifying" in the end.

Mormons are so freaking cool. I want to be one when I grow up.

That was too painful to watch; couldn't finish it. I agree the worst, least inspiring flash mob I have ever seen. I am so glad that I don't live in Utah.

That was hilarious. Thanks for making me feel better because after watching about 10 seconds of the LDS "flash mob" I was starting to feel sick.

Song and dance numbers aren't the way to get hits on YouTube anymore!

I want to be in on the meeting in the COB when some PR Muppet comes running in and says "BRETHREN I'VE GOT IT! Let's re-write the lyrics to Call Me Maybe and do a video! MILLIONS OF HITS, BRETHREN!"
