I have resigned. While I am awaiting the final confirmation, the process is essentially complete.
A few of my friends know (I will let others know as it comes up--I hope that Mormonism is ancillary to some of my friendships, but if that proves incorrect, so be it)
My siblings know.
My mom finally knows--I told her over the phone on Sunday. (My father passed not too long ago.)
My in-laws are visiting and will know soon enough (probably before the week is out).
Obviously my spouse knows.
I have no children to tell...
My grandparents and other extended family are never mo and it doesn't really matter whether I tell them or not at this point.
The rest of my extended family, friends, etc. will know sooner or later as it makes its way through the grape vine.
I'm finally starting to feel free.
