My MP was employed by the church. He seemed like a decent guy, but it was obvious he had come from a very insulated environment and seemed a little lost out in the real world.

I think this has to happen, the guys that are employed by the TCSS are already beholden to the church for sustenance. they got them by the short hairs already so their cog diss is going strong etc etc.
I wonder how many stake pres have that distinction, I know ours is a seminary teacher.
One of the new mission presidents is a member of the FIRST Quorum of Seventy. Not the second, third, etc, but the FIRST. Is this normal, or does that mean a anything?
