Someone please protest this church on Sunday in Tucson with a sign that say's "Keep Jesus and his crazies out of funerals for assassinated public servants and innocents."

Shame on the loser for using Christina Green for Christian political leverage and agendas.

Kudos to the radio host for being a bigger person-I think they should trick them and not air it but, lead them to believe it is being aired.

Well, according to Wiki there are less than a hundred memebers and they are not actually Baptists. They are despicable but hardly representative of all or most Christians.BTW, you should contact Susan direstly if you want help. She doesn't read all the postsYou could also just write another post

I'm not really a Christian and don't care much for the Christian right myself. I was just surprised that they are such a small group. When reading about them I had always assumed they were much larger. I can't believe that so few people are getting that much attention. I also learned that they are mostly members of one family. Protesting at a murdered child's funeral is disgusting. She is hardly responsible for the so called 'evils' they are protesting.At 9, I doubt she has much concept of homosexuality anyway. I know I didn't.I wouldn't worry about typos so long as people can tell what you meant. Everyone does it, especially me.

That is cool and more my idea of what Christianity should be. A little girl in my condo was killed a year or so ago.It made the news and a perfect stranger, a Mormon, from another state heard about it and made a beautiful coffin for her with his own hands. There are good people out there. Unfortunately, the WBC are not among them.Maybe the should read the stuff Jesus said about not judging, loving your neighbor etc and note that he never said a word about homosexuality.

I have no idea. Maybe the OP knows. I wish they would stop giving these few people any attention at all. Maybe they would shut up and go home.

AFAIK, their political views are mostly to the left, and I read somewhere recently that they don't even have a church building where people can visit their worship services. I tried going on their web site and it didn't respond.

As far as I Know, that is what it means.

The wacky Topeka church group doing the protesting has announced it has decided not to picket the funeral of the 9-year-old girl who was killed with a shot to her chest, but vows to protest at the funeral of the assassinated federal judge who died in the murderer's spree last Saturday morning.

However, there is a grass-roots effort underway being organized by regular Arizona citizens to buffer the funerals and mourners from the sick antics of these twisted, so-called "Christians" who are thanking God for the murders.

You dared suggest that someone Christian did a bad thing.

Seriously, don't you know that if a person does bad things they are not a "real" Christian? It does not matter if they get their justification from the first half of the most holy book in Christianity, the Bible, if they are doing "bad" things then they are not really Christians!

It seems it can't possibly be that the bad behavior of the Westboro Baptist Church is linked to Christianity via the most holy of books in Christian, the Bible, ALL of the Bible. It can't possibly be that the Bible teaches lessons that leads to the behavior such "Christians" that other Christians say are not Christians.

I mean we are told over and over that the bible needs to be interpreted, so who is to say which set of Christians has the true interpretation?
