I met an exmo last year who researched the horse issue in the BoM.

Discovered what scientists said about no horses until the Spanish arrived in the 15th Century.

That was it for him. Joseph Smith made the whole BoM story up.

I was in the Yucatan area recently. I visited Chichen Itza for the first time.

The tour guide found out a few in the group were Mormon and showed them a carving on one of the buildings that Mormons think is a guy on a horse. You have to have a pretty good imagination to see the carving as a guy on a horse. I dont know if anyone else has seen the carving.

My TBM wife latched onto that as proof. I almost didnt tip the guy after he pointed out that carving.

It's good to finally see Michael Ash vindicated: "preparing the horses" DID mean preparing them for dinner and then drag the sled-chariots by hand.
