You sucked me in and I watched that whole video! I used to be a night club queen in the 80's. It was so much fun to dance to that song - great beat. (Thought I was really cool). But I look at that video now and think we were all really a bunch of dorks. Carry on.

I was a missionary in Ireland when that song was popular, and I heard it everywhere I went. 1988 was all one big rickroll. :-)

Okay - time to come clean. I watched this lovely lad grow up as contemporaries of my own kids

His dad used to sell bedding plants locally from his nursery. He was discovered singing in the local pub and his career took off.

So now everybody and his grandmother knows where I live :-(

Rick Astley is cool... okay! So is Colin Welland who wrote Chariots of Fire, also a neighbour.

Anybody can Rickroll me any time - he makes money out of it. Happily his is now settled and busy in the music production business.
