I think I will start a new church. I am going to call it Googleism because Google is my God. I can ask my God any question and I get an almost instantaneous answer. I have never asked my God a question that I did not receive an answer for. Now, at times I do not always like the answers given by my God, but that is so with all religions as far as I can tell, so no biggie. Anyway, I may even get a religious charter and make it official.

Isn't the Church of Google already a thing? I meant to join it when I saw it make the rounds on FB.

Google is god because it answers all prayers, even when the answer is "no available results for those search terms".
Far better than the supposed feeeelings, or resounding silence of other gods!

Unless one searcheth for porn, then one goes up and says their prayer to Bing, God of Internet Porn.

Maybe it should be the church of Internetism or some such play on words because after all, the internet is where one can find the answers to all things, right?

Since my chosen career is software development I have for many years prayed to the great computer gods for help and assistance. I am completely OK with the polytheism because the answers received from Google, Bing, Yahoo or any other God that I wish to petition all come together to help me achieve my goals. I have never been disappointed by the great computer gods... they even provide me with a scape goat when I am unable to finish my assigned programming task "I Googled it and I couldn't find a single solution...I don't think it is possible"
