All tattoos are verbotim in the land of Mormon, but there are some that should have never been done just because they are hideous.

The worst one that I have seen was a tatoo the person had obviously given themselves. In large letters, across their forehead, they had tatooed "F*CK". The funniest part, was that you could tell that they did it while looking in the mirror. It was backwards. I don't think they even realized it.

I personally like the girl who had 52 stars tattooed on her face and then tried to sue the artist, because she regretted her decision.

According to Al-Jazeera, nearly half of Americans between 18 and 29 have a tattoo or body piercing. That might explain why you could spend weeks or even months in front of a screen (or at the mall) and still not see ALL the horrible tattoos out there lol! The good ones seem ever more rare, at least where I live.

I still remember the Cartman tattoo from a Papa Roach concert in 2000. I try not to be too judgemental (after all, I have Catwoman tattooed on my back. Twice) but it was a silly choice IMNSHO.

Ok, the tattoo itself wasn't that bad, but I saw a woman, probably 50 - 60, when I was in my early 20's (late 1980's) that totally turned me against tattoos in general and the image has stuck with me ever since. I've tried to forget it but I can't.

She had this huge butterfly/rose thing on her lower back. She was not in shape and there were serious sag and fat issues. It was not pretty,in fact, it was disgusting.

So, I will say, if you want to get a tattoo, go for it. Just keep in mind the place it is and what time will do to your body. You will not always look the same as you do at 24. If you are not willing to put the time and effort into keeping yourself in shape, don't get a tattoo that depends on that to look good, stick with your ankle, shoulder or something like that which won't shift size.

I have known people in their 60's who have tattoos that look fantastic and I have seen people in their 40's that look like crap. Use common sense and think about it. Tattoos can be cool and sexy, but not unless you choose them wisely!

one of my ex-bf's gave himself a tattoo when he was younger on his knuckles that said "GFY"...y'know, go f@*k yourself. He tried to do it upside down so other people could read it but that made it look even worse.
