that's a good resource. I was listening to NPR the other day and they were talking about all the vets that aren't getting their benefits. They said that more vets end up dying or committing suicide before getting help. That just breaks my heart. How DARE we send ppl out to fight for us and then not take care of them when they come home. I just can't even fathom that reasoning. It makes zero sense. Can you imagine having PTSD because of your job and then coming home only to hear that your stress wasn't good enough to be covered by your insurance? It makes my blood boil.
If the government ever disclosed ALL the costs of war--human and material--maybe we'd have a lot fewer of them or when we did we would plan it well, execute it to maximum effect, and get the hell out.
