Such a difference in spirit

As I was surfing across the telly on this lovely Sunday morning, I came across Joel O'Steen in the middle of his serman. I stopped and listened for a bit. It was very nice, uplifing, touching etc.

His message was to "thank God in everything". In the morning thank God for a wonderful day and your day will be better for it. Thank him for your health, your life will be better for it, thank God for your family, your relationships will be better for it etc".

Then I flipped over to Monsen in his general conference "serman".
His message was be "OBEDIENT"! All the Lord's blessings are dependent of one being OBEDIENT to the commandments of the Lord.

Wow...what a difference in spirit.
