Just had this dreck on. It's been 12 years since I attended.

and not a damned thing is different.

The same songs.

The same couplets.

The same speeches.

The same, the same, the same, the same.

I've changed. The morg is still belting out the same old drivel.

They are welcome to it. I have no room in my life for this foolishness.

Oh, YEAH! God never changes, you know! Unless the Wholly Profit says that God has changed.

And no, Mormons aren't widely known for their innovation except when it comes to making members jump through new hoops.

Ha! I haven't attended since 1979 and it's the same to me, too.

Or I should say it was the same last time I watched, and I'm sure it would be the same if I were watching now (which I am NOT). If you look at them all sitting there in the front row, the only one who looks like he belongs in any decade after the 1970s is Ookdork.

I forced myself to sit through most of it this time just so I could remind myself just how terrible and idiotic it all is. It was worse than I remembered even.
