Deleted some, let some stand. I don't think he is a troll, just.... has a long long long long way to go. I must say I did cringe at the "you were offended" comment. Sigh. But maybe someday he will get it. It is a fraud from the beginning. You can try to pick through a pile of poop looking for the occasional piece of corn but it is still nothing I want to eat.
And really, when you are starting to talk to a new group of people it is not wise to come in and poop in the punch bowl. No one appreciates that.
And EVERYONE WATCH THE NAME CALLING AND OVER PG13 COMMENTS.

I have to agree with this. On the gay issue he seemed like he had never been challenged on his views and, to me, seemed a bit taken back that people did not just ape agreement.
No one ever told me little dogs are harder :(. I have never heard of a pup that can piddle three times in ten minutes. Sigh. Good thing she is cute. Here she is in her Sailor Suit :) Next I need pics in her bunny PJs :P
My Ella is two years old and she STILL doesn't think she HAS to use the fenced in back yard provided for her. Mostly she uses it but if she feels like it, behind the tv is okay with her too.
Sigh, she's too little to beat too.
(No, I don't really beat dogs. I think about it sometimes but I don't do it.) :D
Edit: She IS a cutie! (Doesn't look thrilled about the sailor suit though.)

I would love a yorkie some day but I have heard some bad things about health and the potty thing :(. And she loves her clothes! She does she does she does :P. I will admit with her being my first little one I have gone a bit.... well..... ok, down right crazy with the outfits. And she should get used to clothes when she is little just like the grooming and brushing her teeth. But I have dressed the bigger ones too just not as often.
And Mak, I have NO idea what you are talking about! You know NO ONE gets away with anything with me! Even if they have big brown eyes and like Skitterbots :P
I'm going to have to sink about 200$ to get her teeth worked on (didn't know you had to brush their teeth. I've never had a dog with cavities before. I just never give them wet food and give them lots of chews -- but that doesn't work with little dogs apparently.) but otherwise she's been really healthy.
She's a little work. I have to brush her pretty much daily unless I get her groomed with short hair once a month. (I like the short hair though.) And I'm going to have to learn to brush her teeth -- which I confidently predict she will HATE. :)
Oh, and she's spoiled and demanding and I swear it's not my fault. lol
I don't know very much about animals, but she looks like the type that could step in her own poop and track it all around the house and get away with it because she's cute. :)
I see a thread about hating Boy Scouts (shoot, I enjoyed scouting, and I've never dissed it. Course I never had a midnight visit from a scoutmaster, either--That "PG" enough for you?).
Thinks Family Home Evening is Silly, Cheesy, and Corny...
Has only "recent concerns"?
Says Spence Kimball's book made him "feel like pond scum"?
And then claims he can tell which of us were "offended" as well...
And the idea that there might be a lot of atheists here--maybe even a majority--kind of blew his mind...
So, do we have to sit through while he gets an education on Joseph Smith's polygamy, the multiple versions of the First Vision, the rock-in-the-hat, blood atonement, the Mountain Meadows Massacre, post-manifesto Polygamy, Mark Hofmann...
Stuff like that is where I think the power of the board is...
Here's your next question, EM: "WTF is Cabbie talking about?"
And my answer, "The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."
In my case, I at least emulate Al Franken: It's the whole truth with jokes...
Helps keep the screaming down...
Cabbie Edit: Dammit, I forgot the Book of Abraham...

I took about 3 months or so of reading RfM before I felt comfortable enough to post something. I think I was already done with most of the mormon brainwashing so most things didn't upset me. I would never have posted some of the comments edmarc has....he is pretty gutsy.
I have really enjoyed all the different opinions and find so much to help me transition. I was surprised at the number of atheists, but honestly it does not bother me at all now. Same with gays.....57 years as mormon doesn't help in the accepting gays category. I can honestly say with this one too,Gays are awesome!! Your comments are to the point and usually have me thinking in another direction. Same with the atheists-lots of things I would never have thought about had you not been on the board for me to learn from.
So thankyou RfM. This is my go to place for therapy and advice.
