I seem to remember an old movie we must have borrowed from the church library that featured pioneers using dowsing rods. As a kid, I asked my parents what they were doing, and I was told they used the rod to find water.

Does anyone know what film that was, or is my memory mistaken?

I tried finding it but could. I do wonder though. Does anyone know how the main actor in Johnny Lingo died? He died at 57, 20 years ago and there is no explanation. Even though it was insulting I still liked the naïveté of the time. It demonstrates how women were viewed and thus is a part of our history.
