No it wasn't the spirit or a voice from heaven :) At least he stopped the attack. And that is 1 crazy looking bishop...

I didn't click on your link, but in the video I watched this morning, he said he has this sword for home defense and keeps it by his bed.

Wasn't there a horrible tragedy where somebody's kid was killed or maimed by a samurai sword on the wall? Or was that a movie? I'm too lazy to google to determine whether and how much of a pipe dream I'm having.

Either way, it seems pretty questionable to keep a samurai sword by your bed if you've got kids.
