After reading that post about working on testimonies, I've been thinking about how silly they really are. They look ridiculous against facts and are no more than saying I believe what I believe and there's nothing you can do to change that, which, when presented with facts, will not soften the other person but will most likely disinterest them and cause them to view you as a spoon-fed, repeater of words that doesn't really think for themselves.

Peter Boghossian is a philosophy professor at Portland State. He spends a lot of effort teaching his students the skill of critical thinking.

I thought of Mo testimonies when I heard his working definition of Faith.

"Faith is pretending to know what you do not know."
