UnMormon daughter

My daughter is away from home at a college program and one of her roomates is Mormon. She went to a session of General Conference yesterday because there was food.

The Bishop asked her to speak at church! He walked up to her, told her she seemed like she had a lot to say, and tried to sign her up for the last weekend in October.

She turned the invitation down, but how crazy is that?! She could have given the best talk ever!!!

that is really weird, he must of been desperate for a speaker. but this would scare anyone away from church

OK she's not really active and came there for the food.

So suddenly with no training and no preporaton she's speaker material... the church still amazes me.

No, it isn't that she isn't really active. It is that she is not Mormon. Her roomate invited her to church!

Giving the reigns to a nonmemeber could be fun!
