She tried to "look" normal with photos of her and her family and other boyfriends....

She said "don't cause my family more pain".

"I will do good in prison.....continue to donate to locks of love, teach
English, start a book club"....etc. 19 minutes of Jodi

She did NOT mention Mormonism.... too bad.

Will 12 jurors decide on death? life in prison?

NO tears. It was all business with power point photos.

Final juror instructions happening now then Prosecutor & Defense attorneys will give closing statements.

Her "I donated my hair to Locks of Love" was laughable. If she was sincere she would have been wearing a pixie cut, not long hair past her shoulders.

And displaying her "artwork" on the T-Shirt? Marketing her own stuff. She is 24/7 ME ME ME.

She needs to go to a mental illness facility. She is a stone-cold psychopath.

Ya, the alleged donation of hair thing seems to be yet form of self-promotion.

She looks so rehearsed and staged. That fake crying towards the end of her speech made me want to vomit.

And yet, I'm sure there's somebody who buys her lines.

That shirt is a slap in the face to all real survivors of domestic violence, and I hope it convinces the jury to give her the death penalty because they clearly didn't buy her "victim" story. She is a danger to society, and gets a sick pleasure by tormenting Travis's family, so she needs to be given that needle.

It's hilarious... Just for the trial- probably on the insistence of her attorneys- she changed her appearance and demeanor from porn star to Andrea Yates, glasses and all. What an obvious ploy. I'm glad it didn't work!

She's playing games. I still think she wants to die. But now that she's heard on the news that we don't want to give her the death penalty since she asked for it AND because if we do she won't suffer as much as she would have by spending her life in prison.

So now she's playing some crazy reverse psychology game by telling us she wants to live in hopes that it will cause us to give her the death penalty. Which is what she really wanted in the first place IMO!

She thinks she's sooooo smart and crafty.

It's a deep game that her lawyers are playing, not calling any character witnesses for her. We'll see how it plays out.

There's a line up of TV interviews set up by Jodi.
How and why is that allowed?

I thought she had to go straight to prison.

She's getting too much attention.

She likely stays in jail until she is sentenced. Once that happens, depending on how large Arizona's prison system is, she will be sent to a local transit prison, where she will stay for a few days to weeks, in tight confinement, until she can be sent to a super-max, or whatever prison they eventually decide to confine her in. Once she is out of the hands of the county jail, the interviews will probably dry up. Jails are ran by local sheriffs who are elected officials, and he is probably allowing limited media access in order to gain press favors down the road.

She claims she was abused physically and emotionally by her parents. Claims her mom beat her with a wooden spoon and that it hurt, but admited on stage that she was "being a brat." There is no record of physical abuse, just her claim. Her best friend has said on a TV interview that she had a good childhood. Comes from 2 parent family. Parents took her on a vacation to Hawaii. Parents owned a diner. Mom was a stay home mom.

I have watched about 90% of this trial, heard hours and hours of analysis.
I'm convinced that there are reasons for appeal. Might even go to the level of a new trial.

The thing to remember about Ms. Arias, in my observation: this is who she is. She lies. She knows she lies.

She did what she thought she needed to do to preserve her life. What she understand she needed to do and what she did in her allocution did not get her what she wanted. She seems to lack an ability to be appropriate for her defense. And so, her attorneys asked to be taken off the case several times. They could not give her adequate defense in their view.

One thing people forget is that it is almost impossible to get "help" for someone who doesn't want it, especially if they are an adult.

She is an unusual personality. Does she have some kind of diagnosis? Maybe. Or maybe it's just who she is.

She seemed to have had a very long relationship in the past and done OK.

Somewhere along the line, she went "off the rails" a few years ago and was unable to handle rejection, especially after she joined the LDS Church to assure some kind of marriage with her choice.

Will her life be saved and live in the general population, or will she be sitting on death row for years and years. That would sure shut down her need to be in the public eye as she is now, giving interviews, etc.
