The 12 Steps for recovery from Mormonism.
Step 1 – Admit we aren’t powerless over our Mormonism - that our lives had become hateful and meaningless
Step 2 - Come to believe that Mormonism is not greater than ourselves and cannot restore us to
sanity
Step 3 - Make a decision -- to turn our will and our lives over to the care of ourselves and not Mormonism
Step 4 - Make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves without Mormonism dictates
Step 5 - Admit to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of Mormonism is wrong
Step 6 - Be entirely ready to have whatever can remove all these Mormon-created defects of character
Step 7 – Humbly remove our Mormon-created shortcomings
Step 8 - Make a list of all persons that cross our new post-Mormon boundaries and avoid and or confront them
Step 9 - Make redirecting towards proper boundaries statements to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure ourselves
Step 10 - Continue to take personal inventory of our current status of our Mormon-created shortcomings and try to improve correcting them
Step 11 - Pray and meditate on our ever evolving conception of God to improve our conscious contact with like-minded people
Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other Mormons, and to practice these principles in all our affairs
