missionaries will be monitored at all times by mission presidents for their own safety.

Meetinghouses will be opened at all times for missionary work.

So far it looks like the church is entering the internet age. Once again a generation too late.

58 new missions this year. 173 new mission presidents. (may be a dentist shortage in your area now haha)

This is really sounding like they are desperate. The second great apostasy must be bigger than any of us may have thought.

They keep repeating 'less active' and inactive. Guess the third world isnt sending enough cash.

This is sooo staged. Would have been interesting to hear how they were coached before the cameras rolled.

I hope they find some product to rid the places of the lingering odors of dirty diapers, boys missing the urinals and old people's depends..

Missionaries monitored at all times. Wow. Have the mishies been getting into too much trouble lately?

It's a good time to officially resign, so that you're not counted as the less active to be sought out and brought back into captivity.

What have they been saying re: re-activation? If they are planning on coming to my house, the gloves are off.

and missionaries will give tours.

Holy crap, I can't even believe how lame this is ... and vague! You'd think a bunch of old guys who are so excited would be able to articulate very clearly the thing they're so excited about.

I have to wonder if the announcement of mishies being monitored at all times for their own safety is a catchall from so many members complaining after seeing a mishie on a smart phone tempted by porn.

Monitor the missionaries at all times? How? Install hidden cameras in their apartments and tie clips?

Now the choir with the expected heart sell music. If this is live, one should at least hope for a wardrobe malfunction, or perhaps an accidental f bomb.

Video being shown with the choir singing of mishies in work clothes with their name tags, painting a fence for some old guy.

Undoubtedly the old guy is their mission prez.

LOL Who would want to take a tour of an LDS chapel. They're so boring.

In my stake, there are several meeting houses within walking distance of historic cathedrals. It'll be interesting to see how the Morg tries to ride that wave.

They're like the Oakland of church buildings. "There's no there there."

Missionaries monotored for their protection.

Let me guess. They will get i-pads with GPS devices in them so
that when they are killed the MP will know the exact location of
the death. And, as a side benefit, the MP will be able to
monitor ALL the movements of ALL the missionaries ALL the time.

Isn't it wonderful? Isn't it marvelous?

Dodo is crying, regarding how people will not be offended by being invited to LDS services.

Side note- lets invite some radical muslims!

Watching a couple minutes of their videos during the broadcast, you would think that 50% of the members are hispanic.

All of them keep repeating 'ward council' I am guessing there will be more emphasis on recruitment pressure in individual wards.

This is really making me ill. I am thinking I am going to have people at the door in the next few days.

That's kind of interesting. If the church buildings are opened at all times for missionaries, then we should all pay a visit to our local ward and do a little reverse bugging of them.
Go through a whole bunch of discussions and then say, "Nah - it makes no sense whatsoever!"

I predict - nay, I prophesy, that because lot of folks hate LDS Inc. these days - so keeping their buildings more open for missionary work will lead to some on again off again violence in them. I do not wish for violence at all. But I can picture some groups being disgruntled with Mormons doing something that would not be what they wish - people wandering in and asking to be baptized.

I feel badly for missionaries because hanging in their "ward buildings" will make them completely and utterly sick of church. I know I used to hate having to be in them any longer than the 3 hour block, which alone takes its toll on families every week.

Where were the non-Anglos and non-Hispanics in the video behind the music?

No one of African descent (no black people at all).

No one of Asian descent.

No one of Indian/Sri Lankan, etc. descent.

Message to the world: Only Anglos and Hispanics are being included in this "invitation."
