Parents' revolt?

I see a lot of parallels between this new initiative and the Vietnam experience. The Sixties generation was raised in a mythos that equated questioning the government with treason. As a result thousands of 18-year-olds were shipped off to fight and die in a war that they only dimly understood, beyond the black-and-white America-vs-commies backdrop.

Most of America was absolutely OK with that. The real change came when the parents of those young people started seeing their children come home in body bags. Eventually they got fed up with all the hype about Glorious Service and Honor and Valor and all that hype.

How long will it be before the parents of the current crop of missionaries wakes up and sees that their sons and daughters are being mistreaed by their beloved church?
