No Candy!

If they have him hooked up to an EEG, chewing will mess it up and piss the people recording it off.

Color books and crayons. I'm presuming they will want him doing quiet activities.

Seizures are scary stuff. For a parent, you feel completely helpless watching your child have one.

Hope they get the under control quickly.

a child with seizures/convulsions - a little older.Sometimes they find the cause, sometimes not.
They will likely put him on medication.

Find out what his favorite toys or games are. Take him something he enjoys. Coloring books and crayons are always appropriate also.

Maybe Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse -- I'm sure they still have some of those.

But be careful -- a lot of comics are for adults not little ones.

If he wasn't having seizures I'd say a video game but I don't think video games are good for those having seizures. :)

and will sleep. When I had generalized seizures I slept 8-10 hours, and once for days, and a few times could not make it quickly to the ER for head injuries, because I had to sleep first. I think coloring books are a great idea, because it is something he can do sitting down, and will not annoy his brain.

Miami Children's, too. I brought him a dragon-y looking toy that transformed into other hideous monsters. He loved it. He collected them. I can't remember what you call those repulsive things....
