Hey guys - there are a group of us meeting up for drinks/grub/socializing this Sunday (1/30) at 12:30 at Brooklyn's - its a restaurant right next to the Pepsi Center. I will make an attempt. I do not know where the Pepsi center is but mapquest should be able to tell me. Sounds like fun.

Yeah just mapquest or google maps "Brooklyn's" or the Pepsi Center - its just off of the Auraria exit off I-25.

I'll find it, and plan on being there.

I missed one a year or two ago, because I didn't want to hear it from my wife. At that time, she didn't like me being on this site talking to "Those angry exmos". So I didn't push it telling her I was going to meet the angry exmos.

Since then she has caught up to me on unbelief, and has said a few times that I should have gone to that other one.

Of course I was my own man, and could have done what I wanted back then. But I was trying to be patient with her feelings of vulnerability about my thoughts on church. My patience worked out, and now she makes more and more "angry exmo" comments of her own now. She doesn't see this site as a threat at all anymore.

I'll plan on seeing you guys.

Cool!! I'll be there, but more like 1:00 pm. I'm excited to spend some time with some other ExMo's. I moved to Denver in April 2010 and was hoping there were others "like me" here. Looking forward to meeting everyone, and getting to know y'all.

I'll tell my dd about this. She is not a member of this board, but she is an exmo and she lives in the Denver area. She is new to the area and doesn't know many people. May be a good opportunity for her to meet some new folks.

For sure - if you want to pass her my contact info too that would be fine if she needs a friend or a ride.

Perhaps you should post a notice on the PostMo board, too? since there's people who post there who don't post here...

Just posted at Postmo ... I also have a group of friends through other channels that are coming. Its starting to get a little difficult to tell what our headcount is going to be - but I think we are going to have a good group.
