If they don't ignore it, you should get a "come back" letter in a few days or so.

After you get your come back letter from SLC, your bishop will probably want to talk to you. He is notified of the resignation and will reach out to you to verify that it was really you or to convince you to stay, depending on how much of a prick he is. We met with ours and had a nice conversation. We were lucky. He didn't press us or even ask why. He just gave us some counsel on dealing with TBM family. He didn't out right tell us, but it sounded like he had family members leave TSCC so has some personal experience. His main thing was to still work on good relationships with family regardless of faith, so overall it was a good meeting. You do NOT have to meet with the bishop unless you want to. Once he does the paperwork, you will receive another letter from SLC confirming your resignation and removal from the records of TSCC.

Again, many congratulations!
