I just posted about a book I've finished reading about King Tut. The books makes a few references to mormonism.

There's an unrelated quote in the book that really seems to describe mormonism. I think the only reason "The Law of Social Physics" is mentioned is because it was coined by an Egyptologist named Benson Harr.

Here's the law - "The emotional intensity in the expression of an opinion in inversely related to the validity of the data supporting it."

I'm not sure what point the author was trying to make. But as soon as I read that my mind went to Fast and Testimony Meeting and all the crying and sobbing we were subjected to month after month. They can stand up and blubber and tell everyone they KNOW the church is true. But when you don't have the facts behind you ...
