I remember my VT companion (also RS president) telling me how angry she was that she had had her husband repair an electrical outlet for one of the desperately poor, single, inactive sisters in our ward because, after he fixed it, it was revealed this is where the inactive sister plugged in her coffee maker. Ugh. This poor woman had NOTHING in her life, so if a cup of coffee made her day a bit br

I'm glad that you had some fun on Facebook. For that alone it was probably worth it. Unfortunately, I doubt any of it was absorbed into their delusional minds. Stuff like that comes up in their brains as "does not compute"and is promptly swiffered away by their mormon immune response. Cog diss is a sombitch. But, hey, at least you had some fun. ;D

I like their coffee. That's about it. All of their food has additives and that kinda skeeves me out. I do enjoy an order of fries every once in a while...even though they contain "natural beef flavor", whatever that is.

She has a new reality show on Wednesday nights on Lifetime. It's called "Roseanne's Nuts." It involves her, her boyfriend and a couple of her kids on their macadamia nut farm in Hawaii. I'm quite enjoying it, actually. Maybe because I'm nuts, myself.

When I was still a member, a former bishop called me up late one night trying to get me into this shit. He told me a tale of woe; his family was struggling financially. He had lost his job or something. I guess he thought fleecing ward members via a pyramid scheme was better than, you know, getting a JOB.

I never believed the stormy crap, but I followed her threads because they amused me. However, I was just telling my daughter last night that I was glad for the stormy threads because that is how I found out about the drama triangle. So, thank you dogzilla! Reading up on the drama triangle has enlightened me so much. Next month I will be spending a week long vacation with my psycho mother. The

We live far outside the morridor and were converts, so most of my childrens' friends were non-members. However, there was one particular YW leader who told my daughter's YW group that good Mormon children should stay far away from non-member children. They should only hang out with Mormon kids, who shared their impeccably high standards. This lady was one of the typical Utah style Mormons who

Me. I was dealing with severe health issues, which included mental/neurological stuff, when I met the missionaries. Because of the circumstances, my family (parents and sibling) didn't like being around me. They didn't know how to help me. I was dealing with severe depression and anxiety which were exacerbated by my health problems, as well as the fact that doctors couldn't readily diagnose my is

I mainly lurk. I found RfM just over two years ago, and it was a tremendous help to me as I was leaving mormonism. I posted a few times on the old board. On this newer board I think I have only posted once (just the other day, actually). I check in here at LEAST once a day.

I was recently perusing the blog of a young Mormon mother I used to attend church with. As always there was a whole lotta "WTF" going on. This mother was blogging about a "special" fireside she had just attended on "chasity" . Apparently, this fireside had scared her so much that afterwards she, "thought about how I don't want to let my kids out of the house and
