I typed Fast and Testimony in the search bar on Youtube. Here's the one I was talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OebEZeZ4ImI&t=3709s

Others may already know this, but many wards are posting their live meetings to Youtube. It's interesting as a nevermo to hear testimonies. There is one where the guy is complaining about how unfriendly and cliquish the ward is. He's told to stop talking.

What I don't want to see here is outlawing head coverings, or requiring people to wear uniforms or other clothing that is against their personal beliefs. I don't like that about France.

I recently changed from a big church to a little church. We don't have the slick music, video, etc., but we have a piano! Worse thing that happens is that the girl who is supposed to advance the text on the screens waits to long, and we are waiting for the second half of our unison prayer.

Was he going to church alone before he met you? What a big baby. Invite him to visit some churches with you. If he doesn't want to come, go with your son.

Of the two, I like him better. She just seems scary crazy. I was wondering if they were wearing garments!

I watched both hours. The woman uses a lot of strange phrases, like "hand of greed." She says she wants to marry him while explaining what a jerk he is. He's got this fancy knot in his necktie. He sounds like a bit of a player, a bit metrosexual.

First Christmas Eve service at my new church last night. It was NOT a huge, seamless, tv worthly production like at my former church, but it was meaningful. My boys and husband were there. The extended family was scattered to the four winds this year so it was just us for Christmas dinner. We all agreed it was really nice. It was a lot easier for me to prep and clean up for 4 rather than 1

Two years ago on Christmas Eve I cooked dinner for 18 people and just wanted to put my head down in the mashed potatoes and die. Christmas morning I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was weak for a month!

I had to receive multiple transfusions after a complicated surgery a few years ago. As I was getting transfused, I thought of all the church people I knew who gave blood at the bi-annual blood drive. It was comforting.

Since we went last night, I didn't go today. I think not too many people showed up. At my previous church, it was sweatshirts and jeans on Christmas Sunday if you went at all.

My former church made a mint every spring by allowing people to park in the church parking lot of the high school's graduation across the street. It was "suggested dontation" of $10. They money went to youth missions. Everybody paid, and some even paid more than the suggested amount. The event is part of the church's yearly budget because it raises thousands of dollars every year.

My former church (long story) uses the big rounds for Communion bread!!!! The kids run to help clean up after church to get a big hunk of leftover body of Christ.

Wow what an interesting topic! I have a RETURN AND REPORT! I bought some dry shampoo! I used it and it did a really good job of taking the oil out of the hair around my face. It also had a scent that freshened my hair. I will probably keep using it on days that my hair isn't too greasy. Also, sometimes I wake up with my hair looking like Medusa and the only way to fix it is to start over wi

Hmmmm, women have to get manual breast exams, mammograms, as well as cervical cancer screening. Would you suggest they skip those screenings because the chance of detecting cancer is so low? How about all those false positives? Don't men have their testicles examined at their physical? That also seems unpleasant. Get the colonoscopy. Chances are you will never have to have one again in yo

When I was a kid, nobody washed their hair every day. There was a tv commercial with the tag line, "I just washed my hair and I can't do a thing with it!" Probably once a week was the norm. Women who could afford it went to the beauty parlor once a week. By the the 70's, people began washing their hair every day. I've noticed the pendulum swinging back the other way lately. Dr

It hurts my heart that you told your daughter that. She will remember those words every time the topic of marriage or weddings comes up. Find a way to rebuild that bridge.

It was over 100 today, so I used the indirect cooking method on my gas grill to roast a marinated pork tenderloin. I also wrapped some cut up potatoes and onions in foil and cooked them on the grill too. Plus left over cole slaw.

It's unfair to judge a church on one Sunday. Give it another try. Also, check out their website.

It's a very common condition. As the medical professional above said, developing cysts is a normal part of the functioning of the ovaries. Women can have cysts and not even know it. My dr. found one years ago during a regular yearly exam. He put me on the pill to make it go away. I couldn't tolerate the pill longer than a month, but by then the cyst was gone anyway. I think it was 7 cm. I

Margarita(s). My son spent the summer studying abroad in London. He's getting on a plane to come home in about an hour. I may be up all night mentally keeping the plane in the air. Exhausting, but somebody's got to do it.

Wow. Sounds like fun. I love to listen to speakers talk about patriotism. Meanwhile, our church is having an event called "Jazz in July." The only speakers there are blasting cool jazz.

Do they inspect the young women for body piercings? Are the young men allowed to have body piercings? Other than that, the Honor Code isn't that different than my church's code of conduct for trips like this. Although, they don't get to take their electronics. For mission trips, they are going to basically third world countries where they are not trying to draw attention to their cool Ame

As others have said, the odds are overwhelmingly in your favor. I had breast cancer 12 years ago. At the time of the recheck, it was obvious that the radiologist performing the ultrasound saw cancer. I had to sign a paper stating that I would consult a surgeon. I have had 12 mammograms since then, and I know one of these days they might call me back for a recheck. I will try to remember t

It drives me crazy when I see a women in full Muslim modest garb with her menfolk wearing short sleeves and no hat. I rarely see Muslim men wearing shorts, so there's that.
