Thanks once again for all the support! I have to agree with the general consensus here of using a gradual approach with my wife and not getting mixed up in a doctrinal/factual debate with the bishop. Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I have to admit that you're probably right about not trying to present any evidence to the bishop. I mean, there's no way he's going to accept any of it. Unfortunately, I may not have the keep-quiet option if my wife spills the beans (which seems very likely). So I might just tell the bishop that based on overwhelming historical evidence I no longer believe
