This article shows that even TBM see a huge problem when it comes to attendance. Read the article, but more importantly, read the comments: http://www.feministmormonhousewives.org/2013/05/archive-sunday-the-church-is-losing-us-how-can-they-keep-us/

She's not treating him badly. She is a very passive person and it took her a full year to get up the courage to look at his phone last night. He graduated school, couldn't find a job. My step sister got him a job at her office and the two have been stuck at the hip ever since. It started off with hiking, then they decided it would be a good idea to try their first shot of alcohol together in

It is horrible of the step sister. She is married to a TBM who is also in the dark about the affair.

She was very accepting of him not being LDS anymore. She didn't force him to go to church and hardly anybody in our family is LDS anymore. She is the only one in our family that has ever been married in the temple. He is a big talker and he's very obsessive about things. He would bash Mormons 24/7 if he could. He was overwhelming her so she told him that there will be no more talk of religio

Try to stay with me. My sisters husband is cheating on her with our step sister. My sister is a TBM. Her husband has figured out that the church isn't true. He found a friend in our step sister who has also discovered that Mormonism is a sham. Now they are going out to dinner 3-4 nights a week to discuss their hate for Mormons. Meanwhile my sister sits at home 8 months pregnant. I'm happy

So I couldn't help myself. Today I posted a link to the story about Hitler being baptized. A Mormon friend of mine responded to my post. We went back and forth for a while but here is my favorite post from her: She said: mrm . org is not the official website of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints even though the site may contain some truth. If you want real sources or true infor

A FB friend posted something about her Heavenly Father today. It made me wonder... Why do Mormons refer to him as Heavenly Fater? It's almost as if they are afraid to say the word "God" or they are trying to separate their God from the God that traditional Christens believe in. I know they say that they are the same person, but it feels like they are worshiping a totally different G

Really! As a black man, I think it's his duty to research the truth behind the church and it's history with his ancestors. He owes it to his wife and children to protect them. Oh wow! I'm not black, but my husband is and he says this makes him sick. A slap in the face to black people everywhere.

Correct, it's in Ogden. The club I dance at serves alcohol so there is no contact with the dancers. If a club does not serve alcohol, anything goes. But the point is that I fulfilled my fantasy and I feel awesome! I remember looking at porn when I was 17 and I felt so guilty because of the church. I guess this is my extreme way of getting my sexuality back :)

I hate vodka with a passion. If you want a good shot, you must try jäger bombs. Red bull mixed with jäger. It's not too strong and the red I'll gives a nice after taste. If you want to sip on something do the gin and tonic. Trust me on the jäger bombs.

The girls have a thing for big dudes in their 30's with money:) One guy who is a regular at the club brags about how he lives with his Mom and works at the D.I and spends ALL of his money at the strip club. He told me his name starts with a B...then after an hour of guessing, he revealed his name is Willard...he still thinks it starts with a "B". I think he's one penny short of a dol

Nobody has done a sister missionary costume yet. Although, when the movie Magic Mike came out, they had male strippers at the club and one guy did a strip tease in a mishy uniform complete with a real name tag :). I might try that concept one of these days. If only we could post pictures on this site....life would feel complete.

14 years ago, I gave a baby up for adoption through LDS family services. 10 years ago, I got married at the ripe age of 19. Divorced at 23. Started two successful businesses at the age of 24. Realized the church was crap. Married a black guy at 26. Now I'm 29 and I decided that I wanted to play stripper at the local strip club on Sundays (of all days). I have never felt more free in my

Chicago is beautiful! My advice: when you are put in an unfamiliar/uncomfortable situation, stop in your tracks. Ask yourself if you feel the way you are feeling because of what the church has taught you, or if it's something you are genuinely uncomfortable with because of who you are deep down inside. If someone asks you to go to a local bar for social hour, just ask yourself if there is real

For the person who said that calling someone a bastard is the same as calling a black person the n word. It's not the same. The n word carries so much history and ammunition. It bothers me when people try to lump the n word in with all the other bad words people use. The n word is the worst word. The very very worst....not the same as any other word.

I have a father who hitch hiked a crop dusting airplane to get home. I also have a cousin who committed suicide because he wasn't worthy to go on a mission because he and his girl friend had pre-marital sex. His parents found out the reason why he couldn't go on a mission and the told everyone in the family and ward his personal business. A week later they went on a cruise and came home to a r

This might sound horrible, but my husband (who is African-American) always cringes when he sees a Mormon family with their newly adopted black baby. Not because they are white, but because that child is being forced to become poster child for the church to brag about it's new found diversity. The black child probably won't ever get to know the real history of the racist church he will be raised

Birth mom here. I was forced by my mom to go to ldsfs when I was 15 and pregnant. They paid the 15 year old birth father in gift cards to sign over his rights as a father without his parents knowledge. Then they gave me 3 families to choose from. My adoption counselor arrived at the hotel within hours of the birth to collect my signature. A day later the baby was gone. Four years later I st

1) left because bishop sent me to relief society at age 15 after I placed a baby for adoption. I gave up my baby in part, so I could have my life back. Instead I was alienated in a room with "old" women. 2)I never really believed 3) I went back for about a year in my early 20's until I discovered what a talented pole dancer I was (by accident) Then opened a pole dancing studio

I saw a really good point made in regards to the church and their stance on gays and blacks. The Mormon in the debate said that the church is allowed to change because of revelations. The athirst responded "it would be nice if the churchs revelations would come at a time when it wasn't cool to be gay or black.". The church always has the revelations after society has it figured out.

I got in a FB debate with a BYU Hawaii student. We covered many topics but the one that made my eyes water was about tithing. I told him that it's estimated that only 3-5% of tithing makes it to humanitarian aid. BYU: 3% of the tithing sounds like not much, but it's actually a lot of money Me: okay. But other churches give on average 40-60% to charity/aid. 3% is a really really bad
