I'm out, resigned, in active tbm family. They treat me much differently. Was wondering: Is there any way to help tbm family see truth without offending? Ways to hint or plant ideas? I am a priest. I've sent my letter to resign on september 19 for my 18th birthday and received a letter back that my bishop would contact me for my resignation. However he hadn't and when I called his home # I was told he wasn't home by his wife both times. This was 3 days ago (I received letter 8 days ago) but he hasn't gotten back to me. Everything will be okay. You can slowly go inactive and very slowly present your husband evidences if you want but that is probably a bad idea if hes a strong believer like you say. But it's all okay. The hurt and anger you feel will pass and If he really loves you for you then hes yours, mormon or not.

A year ago today I experienced the most traumatic experience of my life. I fortunately got out of the long abusive relationship but I'm still in indescribable pain.
