They are completely dependent on TSCC to tell them what is right or wrong. TSCC tells them not to look at non church sources for info so like obedient children they don't.

How many wives did Joseph Smith marry? Why did he marry other men's wives? Why are there so many versions of his first vision? Is it true that in the celestial kingdom, one man will have many wives? The troll can try to obfuscate or take a thread off topic, especially in areas where shocking real truths are discussed and revealed such as Joseph Smith marrying and having sex with other mens' wives. TSCC may be trying to go to the enemies' lairs to try to counteract the tide of resigni

I tend to be direct too. Thats why it took me so long to figure out what was going on with the passive-agressive "nasty words with a smile".

I think chucky said he was an "excommunicant"...whatever that is supposed to mean. I find people are not telling the truth when they are not clear and their words do not make sense.

"They know full well that what they say is offensive and hurtful, but they word what they say carefully, so it sounds like it's nice, and they word their insults and accusations in a way that they can easily claim they meant something else if you call them out on it." Wow, particularly when I was younger, that happened so often to me with Mormons. The first couple of times it happen
