I could see proof that some people are born gay continuing to become more of an issue. It's a little bit awkward to say god made someone gay... but they still have to get married to someone of the opposite sex, stay married forever, and repopulate a planet with their spirit children. I don't see this trumping what's already out there, but it's possible that more attention could shift towards it.

For gay marriage, you are giving someone that feels love for a member of the same sex the ability to have rights that are equal to those who feel love for the opposite sex. Although, it looks like lds.org is interpreting it that way.
