In our parish the Arts and Environment does the flowers, the bat lady would have no say so. She would just iron the altar clothes. But I see flowers from weddings, etc. and there's an area where we have all sorts of flowers. On Pentecost Sunday red geraniums are brought and put on the steps to the altar and then planted outside.
