It's one thing to be in that situation and know before hand that it's a possibility...and if it's a friend you're close with (either in that way or not lol) but to wake up to it, the sounds and smells and whatnot...I think that's rude on their behalf. I'm quite the opened minded person when it comes to this topic, but they're adults, they could wait a night or two, or do their duty when they

I've had four kids and still have a great body (as in, I'm very shapely in all the right places and fit in all the right places)...just about everyone is shocked to know I'm a mom "Now you don't look like anyone's mama" HA! I'm 30 and look like i'm in my early 20's....and people stare at me everywhere I go ::sigh:: As far as superficial things go, that's my proudest.

I found myself single, mother of 2 and 9 months pregnant with #3 and I had no way to pay my rent for the last month before my lease was up (before moving back to my parents) and I went to the local bishop and he paid my rent. Second time 3 years later, my current apt manager wouldnt renew my lease (filed bankruptcy, see circumstances above) and I had like a week to move and no money and I call

I weigh a couple pounds more than that and I'm not tall (just average) and I look pretty damn good (I carry my weight very well)...but it's still so annoying for "them" to call me obese and how I "should" weigh 135 (right lol). I go back and forth on how I'm supposed to feel about my looks. I blame the culture that you have to be a size 3 to feel good about yourself, yet I h

My mom tells me when she does this, when she feels I'm in need of some bonus blessings. Oh well, it really doesn't and shouldn't mean anything to me, but the fact my name is there being mentioned still annoys me.

growing up were very TBM. When my sister and I were probably 10 and 13, we made a "It's a girl! Congrats Sally!!!!" poster (fake name here of course). "Sally" was their teenage daughter who was probably 17 and was the kind of girl who we never saw had a date or anything and so this would have been "so funny" to do...and we put this poster on their front fence for t

Missionaries came to the door. Spouse (nevermo) opens the door. "Oh! You're mormons!!" and they looked all excited "YES!" "I lived in Utah for 10 years, I am not interested" The excitement quickly disappeared and they left. (Spouse is not someone you'd want to try and continue talking to once he says he's not interested, he doesn't look frie

When I worked as a customer service representative at various companies...people from out of state would ask where you were at and when I'd tell them Utah, they'd ask if I was mormon and how many wives did my husband have... I'd respond with "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that?" haha. shuts them up real quick.

where a girl is opening up her mission letter and is just beside herself, because her boyfriend was called to the same exact mission in Independence MO....haha. It was funny. I wonder why they did that...or maybe it was a whoops?

and I dont know why. I guess I love to know where my family came from before the US..why they moved, when they moved etc....who they were, what their names were etc. Now if only there were camera's to get faces...I'd be complete. I don't "do" it...I just look through all the stuff that's already been done actually.

Marriage is a good thing. But don't you test drive a car before buying it? I sure as heck want to know what I'm getting into before I get married. That's why the thought of marrying a man before having sex has got to be the biggest gamble EVER. I have to have compatibility with a man to even consider going further into a serious relationship, let alone marriage. It's a whole lot e

My exact reason why I absolutely hate trunk or treat. It completely isolates the children in neighborhoods who dont have a ward to go to trunk or treat, therefore those people in the neighborhood are not home and kids receive no answers at the doors they knock on. I think it's rude. Halloween is not a religious holiday and therefore that church needs to back away, especially if they are going

Ok, so I'm watching 'mission call' video's on youtube. How entertaining is this?!?! So here's my question...is there a rhyme or reason to where people are sent? (besides the obvious "that's where god wants them to go" ba ha ha). Is it completely random or do they use personal information to determine where they send people? Especially when it's either Boise, ID vs Democr

Honestly, it all depends on who it is. Some people just cannot get away with wearing "immodest" (and i'm using quotes because i'm talking about clothes not mormon approved, but what the world seems as normal) simply because it's just not the type of clothes best fitting for a person's body size or type. I wish people would realize this...I get embarrased for them, seeing them with thei

Same reason some kid cried on the youtube video when he got his mission call to Portland, OR...(nothing specific about portland from me, just wondering why that was such a touching moment for him...)...(however the best one when some kid almost cried out of disappointment when he opened up his call to Boise, ID...that was HIL-arious!)
