If you'll send me a Private Message with your Email address, I'll go ahead and add you to our "KC Exmos Southeast" Facebook page. Or, you can open your Facebook page and use the 'search' text box on the upper left side and enter "KC Exmos Southeast" (without the quotes), and when the landing page appears, click the 'Join Group' button.

ExKC2018Guy, Let me help you with Facebook. In my job, I use PhotoShop almost every day. The two primary photos displayed on your Facebook page are: (1) Your 'Profile Picture', and (2) Your 'Cover Photo'. These two images are required by Facebook to be specific sizes. If you will select which photo of your face you'd like to use for your 'Profile Picture', and which long rectangle image y

ExKC2018Guy, Facebook: Yes, I've found Facebook quite helpful in making connections with ExMos. As a matter of fact, I think almost all of the ExMo 'in-person' meetup groups displayed on the MSiP map have their own Facebook page. It seems a trend is taking place where groups are changing their group setting from 'Secret' to 'Closed' so it will be easier for new ExMos to find the group when doi

Remember... any time someone from church sends you an Email... they 'opened the door' to communication. That puts you in the perfect position to reply with information they need, but weren't expecting to receive. Therefore, you can send something non-offensive, but unexpected. EQ President says, "I missed you at church, today." You reply, "I was reading the 'CES Letter PD

The security setting for the new Facebook group "Beaumont Texas Area ExMormons" has now been changed from 'Secret' to 'Closed'. Before, when it was set to 'Secret', the group would not show up in a Facebook search even if 'Beaumont ExMormons' was used as the search term. Now, with the setting changed to 'Closed', the landing page will appear, but will only show the name of the admin

I have to admit, there's something different about this Millenial generation. They seem to 'see through' all the BS, and are just not going to stand for it. I think we are watching a very historic movement growing, and it's just getting more powerful every month. The key in this conversation is that even though LDS members are 'told not to look' at outside information, non-member Millen

I'm moving back to southeast Texas in 2021 when I retire. I have dined with Mike Aus, leader of Houston Oasis. He's a real 'stand up guy'; a good man. I joined the church in the Beaumont Texas Stake in December of 1970. Served a mission. After 43 years, left the church in January 2014. Am currently an admin for three Kansas City area ExMormon Facebook pages. I look forward to having ExMo friends

The region is made up of 'Areas' which contain Exmo groups which meet MONTHLY. The Regional and Area groups each have their own Facebook page or website. We have one monthly group for those who live 'north of the riv
