Thanks. Just beginning to rain here in NW TN. I may actually get some weaving done today because I cannot work outside. My father actually told me a few years ago before he died that all of my problems that I have had were because I left the church...um...nope.

The entire time that I was there, I noticed that the Swedish people for the most part seemed quite happy the way they were. My job was to try to convince them that they should change. Damn.

Today is the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere - a time to celebrate ! Also, I remember that it was the day I landed in Sweden in 1977 for the beginning (minus the 7 weeks in the LTM) of my mission...that was a pretty distressing time for me.

Some people are born into truly horrible situations and they come out okay and other people have a pretty good beginning and manage to screw it up eventually. So we do have some control over how we respond to what we start out having or not having.

After my mission, I married in Canada and had three daughters. When a divorce became necessary, I left and moved to Provo.
