In 1985, my aunt was murdered by Satanists in an occult-style ritual. This was before the Night Stalker was captured, and she was murdered in an area he had committed murders. The only reason they ruled him out was because, until recently, Ramir

The world will unfold as it should. And, IMO, there is an everlasting lake of fire prepared for those Satanists who'd gladly murderize your children like the Night Stalker and his buddy, and

I think it would be most accurate to say, "I kill you in the name of having no religion at all." The first rule of Satanism, Luciferianism, whatevs you want to call it, is "silence is golden." So, we may never really know how many communist dictators consulted whatever occult oracles spilling revelations one letter at a time, like their Ouija board or the peeper stone.

Nobody would ever be able to talk be into believing Satanists or Satanism are benevolent and philanthropic. As I mentioned in my initial post in this thread: Night Stalker. And he had friends before he died with his ski

It wouldn't be until you get to the Throne of God where your knees knocketh before the dread Judge of the Living and of the Dead (hint: not Joseph Smith), and you say, "I disbelieve" or "I am faithless" before you can have this question answered to a certainty. As for me, believing in the One Faithful and True who has the hairs on my head numbered, is the only way to go. C

By Satanic Temple, one could refer to the inverted pentagrams of Satanism and black magic adorning the Logan, SLC, and now the new Nauvoo temples. It's the same pentacle as is on the Satanic Bible and scrawled on the Night Stalker's hand whenever he'd walk into court and say, "Hail Satan!" I was once taught that to be a religion, one has to believe in a god. And while Satan is &quo

Methinks this won't be the final change we'll be seeing from the schism between the grumpy, old Church diehards and the neophytes. And if this was a "revelation", why not an Official Declaration? Any why Darth Dallin making the announcement, and not Russell M. in the flesh?

When I used to look at the Church Almanac and see the photos of these guys, you could literally see the evil in them, like they were hagridden or ill-starred. I never once saw a photo of any G.A. and thought, "what a man of God he looks like." Srsly, has anyone ever looked at a photo of Darth Dallin and thought how holy he looks? Not that you should judge a book by its cover, but g

I never got the attraction... physically or otherwise. Having to compete with his teenage twin wives, or with a 14-year-old Helen Mar Kimball, would be likewise unappealing I'd think for any woman. Perchance gals of that era and persuasion were attracted to things like his skill in blood sacrificing a dog and a black sheep, or his general's costume. If you take Helen Mar Kimball's word for

The diametric antithesis exact opposite of General Conference was the Alta Conference held in the early 80s, where all the Antis got together and filmed The Godmakers. Because it was at a ski lodge, that's why you see so much snow in the background of interviews. As the story goes, the LDS owners of the lodge made that the last year for the conference. Maybe also since cars are parked down th

I've not been to an LDS service or an RLDS service in over 25 years. What I remember from the LDS priesthood meetings are lengthy diatribes about all the kind of sex they say they don't want us to have, and how masturbation will wind you up in the Outer Darkness. And then there were the monthly fast and testimony meetings which were far more amusing to watch soul after soul get up in front

My thoughts were that certain precautions were taken for the SLC Temple after learning the lessons from the first Nauvoo temple. Didn't that one burn down from a lightning strike in 1848, and then the remains were leveled by earthquake / hurricane / tornado a little while later? I know some blamed the fire on anti-Mormon arsonists. I did some research a while back, and the temples at San Die

dear all, you are a tough crowd, but that's okay. from what i've read on and off the past few years, the reason i asked about blood-letting, was because i thought if anyone knew, it was here. it was just a curiosity. on the Godmakers front, i wasn't sure if any of you heard that news, but was glad to give this board the scoop. i've known a lot of ex-mormons since i was a teenager, ov

Hi Guys, Thanks for the warm welcome, and really expectedly astute observations. When I say "left the ministries" I was never a Mormon. Rather, I worked with Christian outreaches to Mormons, trying to save souls during my spare time in high school. I don't know much about Godmakers 3 other than what I told you except I'm told that the producers went to a great deal of effort to

Dearest RfM, I've lurked from time to time, sometimes wanting to post, but never getting around to it. By way of introduction, I was an "anti" in my youth, working with a temple outreach, going to Institute, and Sunstone, well, and just learning everything I could about Mormondom. It was my calling. By the time I was winding up college, I found some distractions in life and gradua
